Senators Collins, King Cosponsor Resolution Recognizing National Police Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. –U.S. Senators Susan Collins and Angus King joined 74 of their Senate colleagues in cosponsoring a resolution—which has been recognized by the Senate each year since 2013 and honors officers fallen in the line of duty— designating the week of May 12-18, 2024, as “National Police Week.”
“National Police Week is a time to thank members of law enforcement and reflect upon the sacrifices they make every day to keep our communities safe,”said Senators Collins and King.“During this week of recognition, we honor law enforcement officers as devoted public servants, admired members of their communities, and beloved family members.”
