September 4, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. — Congressman Veasey has released the following statement regarding the detention of Omar Salazar at Bluebonnet Detention Center: “My office has been in contact with Dallas community leaders regarding Omar Salazar’s detention by ICE following a stop by the Lubbock Police Department. We are working with his legal team and ICE to assist however we can.
