Strickland Launches Annual Valentines for Veterans and First Responders Drive

Lakewood, WA – Today, Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) announced her annual Valentines for Veterans and First Responders drive. Valentines will be distributed to veterans, servicemembers, police, firefighters, and EMS teams in Washington’s 10th Congressional District. “Every year, students and community members create thousands of valentines cards for our South Sound veterans, first responders, and active duty servicemembers,” said Strickland. “These cards are a token of gratitude to those who keep our communities safe and secure.” Residents can leave cards at drop boxes at Lacey, Lakewood, Olympia, Puyallup, University Place, and Yelm City Halls until February 5th, 2026.
