Ricketts Statement on Confirmation of Linda McMahon to be U.S. Secretary of Education

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE), issued the following statement after voting to confirm Linda McMahon as U.S. Secretary of Education: “The best way to improve educational outcomes is by empowering states and local school districts. Linda McMahon understands that. She served on the Connecticut Board of Education. She spent 16 years serving Sacred Heart University as a trustee. Her record of service will be an asset to the Department of Education.”
