Miami, FL – Today, April 8, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson announced on social media her statement on the Miami-Dade County Commission’s resolution to take fluoride out of tap water: “My grandparents had dentures and partial plates—and their story is just one of many. “Back then, tiny drops of fluoride were not added to the water. “Keeping fluoride in our water benefits everyone—children, adults, and our entire community—by preventing cavities and promoting good oral health. “I urge Mayor Cava to VETO this unnecessary resolution.”
