WASHINGTON
– Today, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in introducing the
Falun Gong Protection Act
. This bill would require sanctions on those responsible for or complicit in the involuntary harvesting of organs and also require the Secretary of State to report to Congress on organ transplant policies and practices of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP continues to engage in these atrocities, including against Falun Gong practitioners.
Sens. Johnson and Cruz were joined by Senators Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).
