Krishnamoorthi Blasts Trump Administration’s ICE Militarization and Move to Federalize Illinois National Guard

This escalation isn’t about keeping anyone safe — it’s about consolidating power and intimidating the very people our government is meant to protect. I have the utmost respect for the men and women of the Illinois National Guard, who serve honorably to protect our communities in times of need. But Governor Pritzker is absolutely right to resist this latest act of federal overreach.
