Congressman Mackenzie Joined by Carbon County Gold Star Father for Joint Address

Image March 4, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Greater Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, will be joined at President Trump’s joint address to Congress by Michael Wargo of Carbon County. Michael and his wife, Sarah, are Gold Star parents who tragically lost their son after a long battle with PTSD. Since then, they have devoted themselves to raising awareness of veteran suicide and supporting other Gold Star families. “It’s an honor to be joined by Mr. Michael Wargo for tonight’s address,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “The Wargo s have endured unimaginable tragedy and have used that experience to serve veterans and their families here in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
