Sheehy Statement on Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act
U.S. SENATE– U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy just voted in favor of Senator Tommy Tuberville’s (R – Ala.) Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. Senator Sheehy issued the following statement after Democrats blocked the bill on the Senate floor:
“It’s simple: boys are boys, and girls are girls. I’ll continue to fight alongside my colleagues to protect women’s sports, restore common sense, and reject the far-left’s insanity on this issue. Senate Democrats just proved yet again why voters rejected their party in November. The overwhelming majority of Americans think protecting women and girls in sports is the right thing to do, but Democrats are so beholden to the radical fringes of their party that they refuse to even define what a woman is.”
