Highs and Lows: First Bill Passed in the Senate

Hello from my new office here in Washington, D.C.! It’s a big deal, and we’re all very excited to finally have a little space to move around. The high for this week is we passed my first bill in the Senate! I’d like to give a big shout-out to my team on this. It’s a bill that rewards businesses for making improvements to lower their emissions by undoing a punitive Biden-era rule. More on that below. The low? I’m just going to tell you, I feel the pain from all of the economic uncertainty out there. I’m hearing from a lot of the small businesses, and I want you to know that your stories are important.
