Image Before I headed to Washington for House votes this week, I was excited to stop by the newly unveiled statue of Joe Frazier with his daughter Jacquelyn at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art! He was a boxing legend and iconic Philadelphian, and I’m happy to see this statue find a permanent home. Image Click here or the image on the right to hear my thoughts on Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s recent comments that sounded to me like congressional Republicans want to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. I call them EARNED benefits, but he called them “entitlements,” and he said they need to be "adjusted and fixed." If Republicans want to focus on fixing them, let’s start by scrapping the tax cap for Social Security so millionaires and billionaires actually pay Social Security tax on income over $184,500 per year – right now, they don’t! How to stay updated I invite you to follow my updates on social media – I have pages on Youtube , Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , Threads and Bluesky – as well as updates on my Facebook and Instagram Stories.
