Nunn WASHINGTON, D.C. — Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) today released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 in a bipartisan vote of 224-200. The legislation includes 21 priorities championed by Rep. Nunn to support Iowa farmers, producers, and rural communities. “Today we delivered wins for Iowa’s farmers, Iowa families, and a win for America’s future. I worked with Iowa producers in listening sessions across all 21 counties to hear what they needed and take that to the Farm Bill,” said Rep. Nunn . “Iowa farmers’ hard work resulted in real success, delivering 21 wins — more than any member of Congress — to grow the next generation of farmers, expand rural broadband, defend our food supply, protect Iowa livestock producers, and stop illegal puppy mills in Iowa. Our farmers feed and fuel the world, and this Farm Bill delivers for every one of them.” The House vote follows bipartisan passage in the House Agriculture Committee, where the bill advanced 34-17 in March. Rep. Nunn played a critical role in organizing a bipartisan coalition of farm-state lawmakers to push House leadership to bring the Farm Bill to the floor and secure a commitment for a forthcoming House vote on year-round, nationwide E15. “I fought to make sure this bill got across the finish line because Iowa farmers need certainty now — not another year of delay,” continued Rep. Nunn . “I’m grateful to the Speaker, House leadership, and our bipartisan farm-state coalition for staying at the table to deliver. But our work isn’t finished. Securing year-round, nationwide E15 is the next step to deliver certainty for Iowa’s producers and lower prices at the pump for American families. I will keep fighting until it’s signed into law.” The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 now awaits consideration by the U.S. Senate. ### Office Locations Des Moines Office 400 Locust Street Suite 250 Des Moines, IA 50309 Phone: (515) 400-8180 Ottumwa Office 223 East Main Street Ottumwa, IA 52501 Phone: (641) 220-9641 Creston Office 208 W Taylor Street Creston, IA 50801 Phone: (641) 220-9093 Washington, DC Office 1410 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Phone: (202) 225-5476 Sign Up For Newsletter Updates Copyright Privacy House.gov Accessibility
