Webster Response to President Trump’s Address to the Nation

Washington, D.C. — Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released the following statement in response to President Trump’s address to the nation on Operation Epic Fury. “For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted for the death of our country, murdered American service members, brutalized their own citizens, and terrorized the world. “When President Trump announced Operation Epic Fury 32 days ago, he set clear objectives: End the threat of the Iranian terrorist regime and their proxies, destroy their military capabilities, ensure that Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon. “Tonight, President Trump announced that in just one month, our armed forces have made tremendous progress in accomplishing these objectives. The United States military has once again proven to be the most lethal fighting force in the world, and I continue to pray for our service members.” ###
