Rep. Latimer’s Office Starts Mobile Office Hours
April 2, 2025 Press Release WHITE PLAINS, NY – U.S. Representative George Latimer (NY-16) announced today that his office has started mobile office hours, bringing constituent services into communities throughout Westchester and the Bronx. The first event was held at the Doles Center in Mt. Vernon. “A lesser-known function of Congressional offices is cutting red tape on behalf of constituents. We encourage residents to stop by our upcoming mobile office hours to receive assistance.” Some examples of what issues can be addressed at mobile office hours: Assistance with Medicare, Social Security, VA Benefits, and IRS, including guidance on applications, claims, and resolving pending benefit issues Expedited processing for passport applications, including assistance with urgent and pending passport requests to ensure timely approvals Support for immigration cases, including help navigating pending immigration applications, status inquiries, and legal concerns Several mobile office hours have been announced for the month of April: Port Chester: April 9 th at the Senior Community Center, Room 3 from 12-4pm New Rochelle: April 16 th at the New Rochelle Public Library from 1-5pm Mt.
