U.S. Senator Katie Britt Directly Secures Over $14 Million for Mobile and Baldwin Counties Through Appropriations Leadership
WASHINGTON,D.C.– U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, recently directly secured over $14 million for Mobile and Baldwin counties through the passage of two Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 appropriations bills:theFY26 Labor, Health, and Human Services (LHHS) Appropriations Actand theFY26 Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Act.
The bills, part of a larger package, will be sent back to the U.S. House of Representatives for a final vote before heading to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law. Following the signing of this package into law, Senator Britt will have directly secured more than $32.4 million to Mobile and Baldwin Counties in FY26 appropriations funding.

In theFY26 THUDbill, Senator Britt also helped to secure $10 million for the National Scenic Byways Program, which includes Alabama’s Coastal Connection.
