<p><strong>WASHINGTON D.C. —</strong>&nbsp;Tonight, <a href="http://gluesenkampperez.house.gov/">Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03)</a>&nbsp;issued the following statement following the House vote on <a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-concurrent-resolution/38/all-info">H. Con Res. 38</a>:</p>

<p><em>&#8220;The world is a safer place without Ayatollah Khameinei and I fully support our troops’ mission of taking out one of the top state sponsors of terrorism. As a member of Congress, my duty is to ensure that prolonged military action is durable and strategic – right now the administration has not provided sufficient information for me to feel confident in endorsing this vague and haphazard plan.”</em></p>
