Rep. Raskin’s On-Demand Webinar on Trump-Musk Attacks on the LGBTQIA+ Community

On Friday, February 14, 2025, Congressman Jamie Raskin convened an emergency on-demand webinar sharing information for our neighbors, friends and loved ones in the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies during this time of fear and scapegoating, including an overview of Trump Executive Orders and the strong court cases against them, as well as state-level advocacy efforts by Trans Maryland and resources available in Montgomery County. Panelists: Arli Christian (they/she) is a Senior Policy Counsel in the ACLU’s National Political Advocacy Department. Lee Blinder (they/them) is the Founder and Executive Director of Trans Maryland. Dr. Amena Johnson (she/her) is the Montgomery County LGBTQ Community Liaison.
