Gallego Announces Banking Subcommittee Assignments

WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) announced his subcommittee assignments on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs for the 119th Congress. Senator Gallego will serve as Ranking Member on the newly formed Digital Assets subcommittee. Senator Gallego will serve on the following subcommittees: Digital Assets, Ranking Member Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection Housing, Transportation, and Community Development “Far too many Arizonans are struggling under the weight of rising costs,” said Senator Gallego. “Serving on these subcommittees, my focus will be lowering housing costs, protecting everyday Arizonans from exploitative financial practices, and putting money back in the pockets of hardworking families.”
