BOST Announces $3.6 Million FAA Grant to Midamerica Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced a $3.6 million Federal Aviation Administration infrastructure grant for MidAmerica Airport in St. Clair County. The funding will be used to construct a new 6,000-square-foot terminal to accommodate the movement of passengers and baggage. “MidAmerica Airport continues to grow as a critical transportation asset for Southern Illinois,” said Bost. “This new terminal will expand the airport’s capacity to serve more travelers, improve efficiency, and strengthen our region’s economic development.” ###
