The times they are a changin’!

We kicked off the week with a great celebration of American democracy and values – and the inauguration of a new president. President Donald J. Trump has already gotten to work delivering on Iowans’ top priorities: securing the border, driving down costs, and bringing some much-needed common sense to our nation’s capital. On top of celebrating the inauguration, I had a busy week securing big wins for Iowans: Putting every American’s safety first by passing legislation to detain illegal immigrants who have committed violent crimes against U.S. citizens. Keeping more money in Iowans’ pockets by discussing the critical need to keep taxes low with the Ways and Means Committee. Improving access to quality, affordable childcare by cosponsoring the CHILD Act, which would give parents more flexibility and financial assistance. Learn more now.
