Tuberville Demands Telecommunications Companies Turn Over All Private Records Provided to Jack Smith
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) in sending letters to four telecommunications companies requesting they provide to Congress all records that were secretly handed over to former Special Counsel Jack Smith as part of his bogus January 6 th case against President Trump. The FBI recently revealed that the Biden administration spied on the private phone calls of 8 U.S. Senators, including Sen. Tuberville, as part of Jack Smith’s investigation. Last week, the Senators sent a letter demanding the DOJ and FBI produce all records relating to the matter. Senators Tuberville and Grassley sent letters to the following telecommunications companies: Verizon AT&T T-Mobile Lumen Sens. Tuberville and Grassley were joined by Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), John Cornyn (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Thom Tillis (R-NC), John Kennedy (R-LA), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Katie Britt (R-AL), and Ashley Moody (R-FL), as well as Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), in sending the letters.
