Magaziner Statement on Trump Administration’s Decision to Close Exeter Job Corps

Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released the following statement in response to news that the Trump Administration will shut down Exeter Job Corps, along with most Job Corps centers nationwide. “I’m deeply concerned by news that the Trump Administration will close the Exeter Job Corps Center, along with most Job Corps centers nationwide, and by the impact this will have on pathways to good-paying jobs here in Rhode Island. We should be expanding access to career and technical education, and this misguided decision is a step in the wrong direction."
