Casten Votes to Release the Epstein Files
November 18, 2025 Casten Votes to Release the Epstein Files Washington, D.C. — U.S. Congressman Sean Casten (IL-06) issued the following statement after voting to require the Department of Justice to release files related to its investigation into convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein: “Victims and survivors deserve the truth. The American people deserve the truth. We must release the Epstein Files. I’m proud to have been part of the effort to force a House vote requiring the release of the files, defeating Speaker Johnson and President Trump’s efforts to prevent the vote from happening. “We must hold all those involved in these heinous crimes accountable, no matter how powerful they are. I voted to release the Epstein Files to do just that.” ### Print Email Share Tweet
