Bresnahan Holds Town Hall with More than 9,000 Participants

March 26, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC: Last night, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) held his first telephone town hall with constituents of Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District. The town hall, which began shortly after 6 PM on Tuesday, March 25, lasted an hour. Rep. Bresnahan spoke to constituents and answered their questions over the phone from his Washington, D.C., office. Image “I am so appreciative of everyone who tuned in to last night’s telephone town hall,” said Rep. Bresnahan. “Every day, I ask my team what our constituents are calling in about, and what we as a team can do for Northeastern Pennsylvania. This town hall allowed me to speak directly to more than 9,000 constituents about the issues that matter most to them. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people of PA-08, and I will continue to do all I can to fight for them every day.” More than 9,000 constituents participated in the phone call and an estimated 1,000 tuned in on Facebook. During the town hall, Rep. Bresnahan answered questions from his constituents, and covered topics including but not limited to Medicaid, the Tobyhanna Army Depot, the Rain Tax, inflation, the housing market, veterans, and projects he hopes to work on as a member of the House Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Small Business. If you did not get a chance to tune in to the telephone town hall, you can view the full event here or on Rep. Bresnahan’s Facebook page. Additional highlights from the telephone town hall will be shared tomorrow. ### Issues : Congress
