Rep. Norcross Releases Statement on Second H.R. 29 Vote

WASHINGTON, DC —Today, Representative Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released a statement on the H.R.29 vote. “There's no doubt that America needs comprehensive immigration reform, which is why we offered language to address the problems with H.R. 29, however, the Senate neglected to make those changes. If passed into law, this bill would mean that someone with U.S. legal protected status could be deported for a nonviolent crime, such as shoplifting a piece of gum.
