Promises Made, Promises Kept: Rep. Webster on President Trump’s Historic First 100 Days

Washington, D.C. — Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released the following statement highlighting the accomplishments of President Trump’s first 100 days in office. “In just 100 days, President Trump has delivered real results for the American people, fulfilling his promise to put America First,” said Rep. Webster . “President Trump’s leadership is making our country strong, safe, and secure again. My House Republican colleagues and I focused on advancing President Trump’s America First agenda.  Our next step is to pass One Big Beautiful Bill that will unleash American energy, make the historic tax cuts permanent, and reinvigorate the American economy.” Accomplishments from President Trump’s First 100 Days include: Securing our Borders Restarted construction of the border wall. Over 100,00 illegal aliens deported. Illegal border crossings have decreased by 94% since March 2024. Ended catch and release, and re-established the successful Remain in Mexico policy. Rebuilding the American economy Over 228,000 jobs added in March alone. 10,000 new manufacturing jobs created in President Trump’s first full month in office. Inflation is the lowest in years - down to 2.8%. Unleashing American Energy Gas prices have fallen 6.3% since taking office. Ended the Green New Deal and eliminated costly EV mandates. Reversed President Biden’s natural gas export ban. Cutting Waste, Fraud, and Abuse Established the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that has found $160 billion in savings so far. Began downsizing the federal bureaucracy. Ended the weaponization of federal regulations that infringe on American’s constitutional rights. Restoring Common-sense to Government Protected women’s sports by prohibiting biological males from competing in their sport. Ended DEI and transgender policy mandates across the federal government and military. Affirmed that there are only two genders. Ended censorship and anti-Christian bias in federal agencies. ###
