Bice Supports the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act
January 13, 2026 Press Release Washington D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 909, the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act of 2025. This bill, which Congresswoman Bice is an original cosponsor of, redirects unobligated funds collected through the False Claims Act to the Crime Victims Fund through fiscal year 2029, stabilizing the Crime Victims fund during recent declines. This legislation removes uncertainty and ensures victim assistance programs have the support necessary to keep their operations running. Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement. “I was proud to support the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act of 2025. This is a common-sense solution that ensures critical support for millions of victims across the country without burdening taxpayers. By redirecting unobligated funds from fraudulent claims, we are able to continue to support those affected by violent crime. This bill will help keep doors open at child advocacy centers, domestic violence shelters, rape crisis centers, and other essential programs, ensuring that no victim is left without support.” Contact: Wesley Harkins Phone: (202) 225-2132
