House Republicans Would Rather Play Political Games than Fund Our Government “The Senate passed legislation unanimously to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, Secret Service, and FEMA. This bipartisan legislation would give Congress more time to negotiate ICE and CBP reforms without denying critical services funding and workers’ paychecks. But instead of bringing that legislation to the House Floor, Speaker Johnson would rather obstruct and deny workers their paychecks. As Members of Congress, we are elected to work together to solve our most pressing issues. I am calling on House Republicans to govern and take up the Senate’s unanimous legislation.”
