WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) announced his committee assignments for the 119th Congress. Rep. Clyde will serve on the following committees: House Appropriations Committee: Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies; Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies House Budget Committee “In addition to returning to the House Appropriations Committee, I’m excited to be joining the House Budget Committee this Congress,” said Clyde . “Our ballooning national debt and out-of-control deficit spending pose two of the greatest threats to the security, prosperity, and future of our country. With President Trump and a Republican-controlled Congress at the helm, we have a critical opportunity to restore fiscal sanity in our nation’s capital. I look forward to working on budget reconciliation and each of the twelve appropriations bills to achieve this goal, firmly focused on delivering on President Trump’s agenda, championing fiscal restraint, and rescuing America.” Rep. Clyde is a small business owner and a former Navy supply and logistics officer. He earned his MBA in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Georgia.
