Pappas Statement on Passing of Justice Souter

May 9, 2025 Press Release Today Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) issued the following statement after the passing of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter: “Justice Souter dedicated his life to the law and public service, and he always demonstrated a fidelity to the Constitution and embodied our New Hampshire values. This is a sad loss for our state and country, and I know his legacy is one that will endure.”
