WASHINGTON – Today in the Senate Judiciary Committee and during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) discussed efforts to protect kids online, including his support of the Guidelines for User Age-verification and Responsible Dialogue (GUARD) Act led by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and the Terminating Restrictive Enforcement of Youth Settlements ( TREY’S Law ) led by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and entered into the record two letters led by Texas State Senator Angela Paxton (SD-08) urging implementation of guardrails around AI for child safety.
