Garbarino Helps Constituent Adjust Insurance Plan After Loss

July 27, 2025 Constituent Services After losing his spouse earlier this year, a 93-year-old constituent contacted my office for help adjusting his federal insurance plan. He had attempted to update his coverage and reduce his deductions but later learned the paperwork had not been received by the Department of Labor. My casework team stepped in, ensured the correct forms were submitted, and successfully secured the insurance change. They also helped the constituent receive a refund for the higher deductions that had been taken in the meantime.
