Hoeven: Jamieson Greer Confirmed as U.S. Trade Representative

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Jamieson Greer to serve as U.S. Trade Representative (USTR):
“Jamieson Greer has served our country including in the U.S. Air Force and as chief of staff to the U.S. Trade Representative during President Trump’s first administration. Importantly, during his confirmation process he recognized the importance of expanding market access for U.S. producers, including our agriculture sector. USTR Greer will play an important role as the Trump administration works to secure better, long-term trade agreements on behalf of U.S. producers.”
