ICYMI: Shaheen Welcomes NH Vendors for 15th Experience New Hampshire Reception in Washington, DC

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) welcomed the 15th “Experience New Hampshire” reception, where Granite State businesses, culinary training programs, institutions and vendors from around the state showcased their products and services, including beverages, specialty foods and tourism opportunities, for policymakers and government officials in Washington. For this landmark 15 th Experience New Hampshire, and my last as a Senator, it was incredibly meaningful to see new and returning businesses showcase their products and engage with folks in Washington,” said Senator Shaheen. “ I am so thankful for the help of the Granite State Ambassadors in making these events possible and to the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire for helping us put on another successful New Hampshire Business Day luncheon. ” At the Experience New Hampshire reception, guests enjoyed gourmet food and drinks from culinary training programs, specialty food makers and breweries and distilleries from across the state, while also learning more about the culture and tourism opportunities in New Hampshire. The event, which took place in the Kennedy Caucus Room in the Russell Senate Office Building, drew attendees including the New Hampshire Congressional Delegation – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Representatives Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Maggie Goodlander (NH-02) – alongside other members of Congress and federal government officials. Other notable attendees included Marty the Moose and Kodak the Bear from White Mountain Attractions. Earlier in the day, Shaheen and the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire hosted the annual New Hampshire Business Day luncheon with Granite State small business leaders, providing them an opportunity to hear directly from government leaders, journalists and other notable speakers and about programs and agencies that offer support to businesses.
