Celebrating Leadership in Animal Welfare

March 6, 2026 Newsletters Image I’m honored to have been recognized as a Legislative Leader by the Humane World Action Fund for our work on animal protection legislation in Congress.  The Humane World Action Fund works to advance pro-animal policies and supports lawmakers who lead on legislation that protects animals across the states, as well as in U.S. commonwealths like the Northern Marianas and Puerto Rico.  It was a privilege to attend the Humane Awards reception in the Capitol, celebrate with fellow Members of Congress, and highlight the bipartisan efforts being made to improve animal welfare.
