Amid Tragic California Fires, House Passes Legislation to Improve Resiliency Against Wildfires

WASHINGTON — Speaker Johnson released the following statement after the House passed H.R.471 Fix Our Forests Act , which also previously passed in the 118 th Congress: “The House passed the Fix Our Forests Act because good leaders prepare for emergencies.
