President Trump’sOne Big Beautiful Bill Actwill cut more than $1 trillion dollars from Medicaid over ten years and will result in billions of lost revenue for rural hospitals. Senator Welchvoted in strong oppositionagainst the legislation in July. If Republicans refuse to work with Democrats and extendACAPremium Tax Credits before December 31, 2025, nearly27,000Vermonters,129,000Nebraskans, and120,000Iowans will lose a vital source to pay for plans provided through theACAmarketplace.
