Nunn’s listening session tour across all 21 counties in Iowa’s Third District with a live telephone town hall from Washington. “We heard it again last night. Family budgets are stretched thin, costs remain too high, and Iowans want to know that Washington is actually working for them,” said Rep. Nunn . “That’s why we fought to deliver no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, an expanded Child Tax Credit, and a new senior deduction for Iowa retirees. Iowans were also clear about what comes next: getting the Farm Bill and year-round, nationwide E15 across the finish line in the Senate and advancing rural housing reforms so young families can afford the American dream of homeownership.” During the listening session, Rep. Nunn and Chairman Smith heard directly from Iowans on issues ranging from the cost of living and energy prices to rural health care, border security, the Farm Bill, and the future of Iowa’s livestock industry. Last night’s listening session builds on Rep. Nunn’s commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with constituents. Since taking office, he has held more than 300 events and listening sessions with Iowans across Iowa’s Third District, ensuring families, farmers, and small businesses have a direct voice in the policymaking process. ### Office Locations Des Moines Office 400 Locust Street Suite 250 Des Moines, IA 50309 Phone: (515) 400-8180 Ottumwa Office 223 East Main Street Suite 1 Ottumwa, IA 52501 Phone: (641) 220-9641 Creston Office 208 W Taylor Street Creston, IA 50801 Phone: (641) 220-9093 Washington, DC Office 1410 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Phone: (202) 225-5476 Sign Up For Newsletter Updates Copyright Privacy House.gov Accessibility
