John James Sworn into 119th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. –Today, Representative John James (MI-10) was sworn into the 119 th Congress by Speaker Mike Johnson. This officially marks the completion of the 118 th Congress, and the beginning of the 119 th . Following his swearing in, Rep. James released the following statement: “I am beyond excited to get to work on behalf of the Michigan people—they elected us to bring down gas and grocery costs, secure our borders, end disastrous EV mandates, and restore American leadership on the global stage. With President Donald Trump, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune leading the charge, we are in a prime spot to get to work on the issues that impact everyday Michiganders and Americans. I look forward to continuing to build on the work we got done in the 118 th Congress—including passing 8 bills through the House as a freshman.”
