Miller-Meeks Sworn into 119th Congress

Image January 3, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) was officially sworn into the 119th Congress during a ceremony on the House floor, led by newly re-elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. This marks her third time taking the oath of office. “It is the honor of a lifetime to serve the people of Iowa’s First Congressional District,” said Miller-Meeks . “When I first took the oath in 2021, I pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Four years later, I proudly renew that pledge.
