Congresswoman Pou Calls for Safe Distribution of Humanitarian Aid in Gaza

July 26, 2025 Press Release PATERSON, NJ – Congresswoman Nellie Pou (D-NJ-09) issued the following statement regarding the increasingly desperate humanitarian situation in Gaza. “The deteriorating conditions and loss of innocent lives in Gaza are unacceptable and heartbreaking,” said Congresswoman Pou . “Two imperatives must happen immediately. First, a constant, heavy flow of aid must be allowed by the Israeli government and by Hamas to reach innocent people without the threat of violence. Second, a permanent ceasefire must take hold, with all parties, Hamas included, agreeing to terms that release the remaining hostages.
