July 3, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) released the following statement after supporting the passage of landmark legislation to secure our border, unleash domestic energy production, strengthen Medicaid, and prevent the largest tax hike in American history. “The American people suffered for too long under the Biden administration, and today, my Republican colleagues and I delivered relief by passing President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill so that our nation can return to prosperity,” said Rep. John Joyce, M.D . “By passing H.R. 1, Congress prevented the largest tax hike in American history, increased funding to secure our border, and reinforced President Trump’s peace through strength national security policies. By rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse, the Medicaid program will be strengthened so that the most vulnerable Americans among us will continue to receive the benefits that they need and deserve.
