Statement from Congressman Moulton on the Two-Year Anniversary of the October 7th Attacks

October 7, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06) issued the following statement regarding the two-year anniversary of the October 7th attacks by Hamas in Israel. "Today, we recognize the two-year anniversary of Hamas' horrific terrorist attack on October 7th. We honor the memories of those murdered that day, pray for the safe return of those still held hostage, and stand in solidarity with Jews all over the world. "Two years on, the pain of that day has rippled outwards. Hamas continues to hold 48 hostages, leaving an open wound that cannot heal until they come home. And the millions of innocent Palestinians caught in the middle of this conflict have endured two years of displacement, violence, suffering, and loss. "But this anniversary also brings real hope. There is a viable peace plan on the table that can release the hostages, end the war, and secure a more peaceful future for the entire region. Israelis and Palestinians both deserve permanent peace and security and deserve leaders willing to make that happen.
