The Page Program is a unique opportunity for students in their junior year of high school to spend a semester working on the U.S. Senate floor while living and studying in Washington, D.C. Pages attend morning classes at the Senate Page School, then spend the rest of the day in the Senate with responsibilities ranging from delivering correspondence to Senators to helping prepare the floor for the legislative workday. Senator Klobuchar is currently accepting applications for the Page Program.  The Page Program session dates are listed below.  Interested Minnesota students should submit an application.

Our internship program offers promising college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience in government and politics. Over the course of a semester, interns gain a deeper knowledge of the federal government while strengthening their communication, problem solving, and time management skills.Interns work closely with staff to serve the people of Minnesota. Our goal is to provide a meaningful experience that will help each intern achieve his or her long-term career goals through a rigorous curriculum, clearly defined expectations, and constructive feedback.Full- and part-time internships are available in both Senator Klobuchar’s Minneapolis office and her Washington, DC, office. Our office offers paid internships and housing stipends for those who have financial need. For students seeking college credit, we can accommodate your school’s requirements.

Interns in the Minneapolis office work closely with our staff on a wide variety of projects. Our state office houses our constituent services team and our outreach team, as well as scheduling and communications staff. We strive to cater our program to each individual intern’s interests, goals, and skill set.
Intern responsibilities may include the following:
Full- and part-time internships are available every semester. We ask that interns plan to work at least 15 hours a week. For students seeking college credit, we can accommodate your school’s requirements.

Interns in our Washington, DC, office work closely with our legislative and communications staff. You will receive training from the Congressional Research Service (CRS), learn how to use the Legislative Information System (LIS), and attend professional development workshops.
Intern responsibilities may include the following:
Full- and part-time internships are available. During the fall and spring sessions, interns are expected to work at least one full day and two half-days. During the summer session, interns are expected to work full-time unless enrolled in summer courses. For students seeking college credit, we can accommodate your school’s requirements.
While Senator Klobuchar encourages all individuals to apply, applicants from Minnesota will be given preference.
