WASHINGTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee today advanced the following nominations: Sheria Akins Clarke , to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina, by a vote of 15-7. Kathleen S. Lane , to be United States District Judge for the District of Montana, by a vote of 12-10. Evan Rikhye , to be Judge for the District Court of the Virgin Islands, by a vote of 12-10. Kara Marie Westercamp , to be a Judge of the United States Court of International Trade, by a vote of 12-10. Kenneth Sorenson , to be United States Attorney for the District of Hawaii, by a vote of 19-3. Johnson Teehee II , to be United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, by a vote of 13-9. The Judiciary Committee additionally advanced the following bipartisan bills: The Federal Carjacking Enforcement Act , led by Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), to improve the law to help federal prosecutors crack down on carjacking, by a vote of 18-4. The GUARD Act , led by Sen.
