Cortez Masto Statement on President Trump’s Decision to Revoke TPS Extension for Venezuela

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released the following statement after Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem moved to rescind a preexisting extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuela. “TPS recipients from Venezuela are hardworking members of our communities who would face immense danger if they were forced to return to communist Venezuela.
