<p style="white-space: normal; text-decoration: none; color: #212121; line-height: 170%;"><span style="color: black; line-height: 23.8px;">Specifically, I asked about the similarities and differences between the 2023 TerraUSD and 2008 Reserve Primary Fund crises, and how Stablecoins would help the U.S. Dollar remain the world’s currency.</span></p>
<p style="white-space: normal; text-decoration: none; color: #212121; line-height: 170%;"><span style="color: black; line-height: 23.8px;">Democrats get it all wrong: dollar-backed Stablecoins are not like demand deposits at all. </span><span style="line-height: 23.8px;">Many users prefer dollar-backed Stablecoins as a short-term core position for cash management. When backed by high quality, liquid assets like U.S. Treasuries, stablecoins will give digital asset investors the confidence and convenience they need to engage in the market. <span style="color: black; line-height: 23.8px;">We need a regulatory framework for stablecoins that protects consumers</span> and <span style="color: black; line-height: 23.8px;">rewards innovat</span>ion.</span></p>

<p style="line-height: 170%;">This newsletter series called “<em>Fraud Alert Friday</em>” is to highlight waste, fraud, and abuse occurring across the federal government, detailing eye-opening fraud and misconduct.</p>
<p style="line-height: 170%;"><strong>Alert</strong>: Recently, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) identified that the Small Business Administration (SBA) granted nearly 5,600 loans for $312 million to borrowers whose listed owner was 11 years old or younger at the time of the loan. These loans were issued in 2020 and 2021, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the agency said it’s unclear what these loans were actually used for.</p>
<p style="line-height: 170%;"><strong>Alert</strong>: In another instance, DOGE revealed that in 2020 and 2021 the SBA issued $333 million in loans to 3,095 borrowers over 115 years of age. Unbelievably, these borrowers were still marked alive in the Social Security database.</p>
<p style="line-height: 170%;">These are just a couple examples of taxpayer money being severely mismanaged, further emphasizing why greater accountability, rigorous oversight, and reform is needed in the federal spending process.
