Should Congress reverse GOP cuts to health care?
July 23, 2026 Past Newsletters One year ago, Donald Trump signed a bill into law that made historic cuts to health care and food assistance. Today, over 8 million seniors, kids, and people with disabilities have already lost their health insurance, and over 54,000 people in Indianapolis alone are seeing their health care costs rise. Americans who haven’t lost their health care altogether are still paying thousands more annually on premiums because of Trump's bill. Republicans’ failed policies have stripped Americans of health care, food, and security to fund handouts for billionaires and violent mass deportation operations in our neighborhoods. Now House Republicans are considering another extremist budget that would cut more programs Americans rely on and spend your tax dollars on the same endless foreign wars that are raising your prices.
