Carter applauds House passage of budget resolution, advancing key elements of President Trump’s agenda
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA), member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the House voted to advance President Trump’s agenda by passing a fiscal year 2025 budget resolution: “The American people’s voice was heard today. This budget resolution advances the full agenda that 77 million Americans voted for President Trump to enact, including securing the border, restoring fiscal sanity, unleashing American energy dominance, strengthening our national security, extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and slashing the waste, fraud, and abuse that is rampant in Washington. “It’s a new day in America, and this bill represents the change Georgians are demanding after four years of failure under the Biden-Harris Administration. I am calling on Georgia’s Senators Ossoff and Warnock to support this historic bill and put America First.” ###
