Murphy Statement On DOJ's Baseless Lawsuit Against Connecticut

WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.)released the following statement in response to the Department of Justice filing a lawsuit against the state of Connecticut over the state’s lawful public safety policies:
“Donald Trump's Department of Justice should spend more time going after dangerous criminals and less time wasting taxpayer dollars by attacking states that don’t support his inhumane and illegal mass deportation agenda. Connecticut remains on the right side of the law and will continue to keep our communities safe from crime and this administration’s lawlessness.”
